With a career that began in 2011 with the album "Gazela", Capitão Fausto released "Pesar o Sol" (Weighing the Sun) in 2014, but it was in 2016 that they became the "voice of a generation" with the album "Capitão Fausto Têm os Dias Contados".
Capitão Fausto have just released the album "Subida Infinita" (March 2024). It's the fifth original album by the band from Alvalade and also the last on which Tomás, Salvador, Domingos, Manuel and Francisco played together. Three years later, they showed their constant ability to reinvent themselves with "A Invenção do Dia Claro", recorded in Brazil two years earlier. Going through a time of change, due to the recent departure of keyboardist Francisco Ferreira, Capitão Fausto are reinventing themselves once again in order to move forward as a quartet. A new life, which is set to take place on the new stage at Rock in Rio Lisboa on the second day of the festival.
