The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa will take place on June 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2021

 

  1. Where will Rock in Rio Lisbon 2021 be realized?

Rock in Rio Lisbon will take place at Parque da Bela Vista, Rua Dr. Arlindor Vicente, 1950-080, Lisbon, Portugal.

 

  1. Why was Rock in Rio Lisboa rescheduled for 2021?

We followed and analyzed in detail all the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the General Directorate of Health regarding the COVID-19. Aware of this reality, over the past few days we have studied various scenarios, in order to figure out one that would enable us to continue bringing joy to people, by creating unforgettable moments.  After evaluating several options, we concluded that all of them would imply resuming the assemblies of the City of Rock at a time that we believe the environment will still not be favorable (May). For this reason, we made the decision to change the dates of the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa for June 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2021.

  1. What is the doors opening time in the City of Rock?

Doors opens at 12:00pm and closes at 02:00am.

  1. Which is the Rock in Rio Lisbon Age Restriction?

The Age restriction is M6 – above 6 (six) years old.

Being prohibited the admission of youngest than 3 (three) years old.

 

  1. If the age of a child is questioned, what happen?

Whenever the age of a child is suitable to any doubts, an official identification must be presented to the responsible agents asking for it, to control the child age. If the child age is under the permited one, the access to the venue will be denied.

 

  1. Children can come in at the City of Rock without being accompanied by an Adult?

Children older than 3 (three) years (included), and younger than 12 (twelve) years can only access to the City of Rock, legally accompanied by their parents (Dad and Mom), or by an adult properly identified by then.

 

  1. Do children, of any age pay tickets?

Yes, everyone, including kids, need one (1) valid ticket to access to the City of Rock.

The tickets acquired to ROCK IN RIO LISBOA 2020 are automatically valid to the new dates, following the headline, confirmed until now:

Day 20/06/2020 -> 20/06/2021 – The Black Eyed Peas

Day 27/06/2020 -> 26/06/2021 – Duran Duran

  1. My actual Weekend Pass for Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020 are valid for which new weekend?

The acquired passes for ROCK IN RIO LISBOA 2020 will be valid for these new dates:

Weekend Pass 20th & 21st of June 2020 -> Weekend Pass 19th & 20th of June 2021

Weekend Pass 27th & 28th of June 2020 -> Weekend Pass 26th & 27th of June 2021

 

  1. I will not be able to attend the new date and going to give my ticket to a friend/family, do I need to do anything?

No, the tickets are automatically valid for the new date, and there are no name checks, just being necessary to present a valid ticket at the venue door.

 

  1. Which kinds of tickets will be available?

The General Access, weekend pass and family pass are the only ticket types available for sale.

 

  1. What’s the Daily Ticket Price? And the Weekend Pass?

The Daily ticket will cost €69,00 and give you access to all the attractions at the festival site.

The Weekend Pass cost €112,00 and give you access to all the attractions at the festival site for one person on both days of the selected weekend.

 

  1. When will the tickets be available for sale?

The voucher can be exchanged for the 2021 ticket in the FNAC store of your choice

 

  1. I bought a Rock in Rio Experience Pack powered by FNAC. Do all the benefits available on this product remain with the rescheduling of the festival?

Yes. Your Rock in Rio Experiences Pack powered by FNAC will be valid for the new dates and no changes will be made to your benefits

 

  1. I bought a voucher at Continente and have not yet exchanged the voucher for a ticket. How should I proceed?

The voucher can be exchanged for the 2021 ticket on a date to be informed shortly

 

  1. I won through a giveaway contest entry(ies) (Daily ticket, double ticket, upgrade to VIP with companion, lifetime ticket) for Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020. Does It remain valid for 2021?

Yes. The entry(ies) won in giveaway contests for ROCK IN RIO LISBOA 2020 will remain valid for the new dates.

 

  1. I won a double invitation to the Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020 test event.  Does It remain valid for 2021?

Yes. Your double invitation to the test event of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA 2020 will be valid for 2021. We will contact you as soon as we have more information.

 

  1. I won an exclusive experience (Walking Tour, gastronomic experience, early entry, ferris wheel fastpass, slide fastpass, FNAC lifetime card) for Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020. Does It remain valid for 2021?

Yes. Your exclusive experience for ROCK IN RIO LISBOA 2020 will be valid for 2021. We will contact you as soon as we have more information.

 

  1. I bought an integrated ticket – ROCKCard CP / ROCKPass REDE EXPRESSOS / ROCKPass Via Verde. Do all the benefits available on this product remain with the rescheduling of the festival?

Yes. Your integrated ticket will be valid for the new dates and no changes will be made to your benefits. We will inform you in a timely manner how you can exchange your Voucher. Everything else remains unchanged.

 

Doubts about family passport:

 

  1. What is the Family Passport?

The Family Passport is a single daily ticket, valid for 3 (three) adults and 2 (two) children, 1 (one) adult over 70 and 2 (two) children aged between 3 and 10 years inclusive.

Subject to stock availability.

 

  1. What is the price of the Family Passport?

The Family Passport costs € 142.00, and allows 5 people to access Rock in Rio simultaneously through an exclusive corridor.

 

  1. When can I buy the Family Passport?

The Family Passport is an exclusive product of GALP, so you will have to go in person to one of the GALP Gas Stations or Electricity and Natural Gas Stores available for sale:

A.S. Boavista, A.S. Francos, A.S. Universidade Católica Porto, A.S. Leiria, A.S. Adelino Amaro da Costa, A.S. Estoril, A.S. Aeroporto N / S, A.S. Telheiras, A.S. Gago Coutinho, Casa da Música and Almada stores.

 

  1. Can the 5 (five) people come in the festival separately?

No. The ticket is unique, and the 5 (five) people must enter the venue simultaneously.

 

  1. I bought a Family Passport. Do all the benefits available on this product remain with the rescheduling of the festival?

Yes. Your Family Passport will be valid for the new dates and no changes will be made to your benefits. If, until the new dates announced, the age of the child (ren) changes and exceeds 10 years old (inclusive), we will take the situation into account and allow the minor to enter by presenting the age-related identification document to the agents responsible for inspection.

 

Doubts about the voucher (established by Decree-Law No. 10I / 2020)

 

  1. What is the Voucher estabilished by the Decree-Law n.º 10I/2020?

It’s a resource established by Decree-Law n. º 10I/2020 with the changes introduced by Law no. 7/2020, of 10th April and Law no. 19/2020, of 29th May which gives ticket holders of festivals and similar events, unable to take place due to the COVID 19 pandemic, a right to issue a voucher with the same face value payed for the ticket.

This voucher can be used in the acquisition of tickets for the same event in the new date or in other events of the same promoter and it’s valid until 31st of December 2021.

 

  1. How can I request the voucher for Rock in Rio?

The Customers with tickets acquired before the reschedule of the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon will be able to request the voucher between 26th of October 2020 and 21st of March 2021, in the same ticket outlet of the original purchase. 

 Note: the request of a voucher automatically cancels your actual ticket, and acquisition of a new Rock in Rio ticket will be subject to availability

Rock in Rio Website : The request should be made clicking HERE. Just insert all the data requested and follow the instructions.     

 

FNAC:  Customers who purchased a ticket on FNAC must go to a FNAC store with your ticket and request the VALE in the ticket office. The store will keep the 2020 ticket, that will be promptly cancelled, and give you the VALE of the same amount of the ticket. This operation is the same for who bought on FNAC.PT 

  

Continente:   Operation currently unavailable. 

From a date to be informed, customers who purchased tickets at Continente or Continente Online stores will have to go to the store (list below) with the 2020 tickets in their possession and request the VALE. The attendant will keep the 2020 ticket, which will be immediately canceled, and deliver the VALE in the same value as the ticket.

Ticketline.pt (includes Rock Card CP and Rede Expresso):   For purchases made online: Send an e-mail requesting the VALE to ticketline@ticketline.pt with the subject: “Rock in Rio Lisboa VALE request”, informing your ticket number in the body of the e-mail.

For purchases made in stores: You will have to go to the store with the 2020 tickets in your possession and request the VALE. The store will cancel the 2020 ticket and deliver a VALE in the same amount as the ticket.

  1. How can I use the Voucher?

The 2020 ticket holders will be allowed to request the issue of the Voucher between 26th of October 2020 and 21st of March 2021 in the same ticket outlet of the original purchase. Clients who made the acquisition after March 2021 are not included in this right.    

 

Note: the request of a voucher automatically cancels your actual ticket, and acquisition of a new Rock in Rio ticket will be subject to availability.

  1. Does the voucher give me priority in the acquisition of tickets?

No, the voucher works as a payment form for acquisition of tickets. That is, the acquisition of new tickets will always be subject to availability.

The voucher is valid for the acquisition of a new ticket only in the ticket outlet of the original purchase.

 

  1. I will not be able to attend the event, can I request a refund?

The customers that acquired a ticket before the reschedule of the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon and decide not to be present in the 2021 edition can request a voucher according with the Article 5th of Decree-Law n.º 10I/2020 with the changes introduced by Law no. 7/2020, of 10th April and Law no. 19/2020, of 29th May.

The customers that not made use of the voucher until 31st of December 2021 will be able to request a refund for the same value, in a 14 work days period, as established in the law, in the same ticket outlet of the original purchase. The refund value will match the balance of the Voucher, in the event of only a part of the total voucher value be utilized.

The clients that NOT exchange the ticket for a voucher will not be eligible for a refund.

 

  1. I requested the voucher but ended up not using it. Can I request a refund?

The customers that not made use of the voucher until 31st of December 2021 will be able to request a refund for the same value, in a 14 work days period, as established in the law, in the same ticket outlet of the original purchase.

 

  1. I plan to use the Voucher, but the ticket I’m acquiring is not the same value of the voucher, can I use it anyway?

Yes, the voucher works as a payment form in the acquisition of new tickets. There is, can be utilized for purchasing a higher face value ticket, in combination with another payment form to match the price difference, or for ticket with lower face value, keeping the remaining balance in the voucher.

 

  1. I want to request a refund of my ticket, how should I proceed?

The customers that acquired a ticket before the reschedule of the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon and decide not to be present in the 2021 edition can request a voucher according with the Article 5th of Decree-Law n.º 10I/2020 with the changes introduced by Law no. 7/2020, of 10th April and Law no. 19/2020, of 29th May.
