  1. When will the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa take place?

The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, initially scheduled for 2020, has been rescheduled for 18, 19, 25 and 26 June 2022.

 

  1. Where will the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa be take place?

The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa will be staged in the Parque da Bela Vista, Rua Dr. Arlindo Vicente, 1950-080 Lisbon, Portugal.

 

  1. Why was Rock in Rio Lisboa rescheduled for 2022?

The health and safety of our audience is, and it will always be, our first priority, and currently being in a state of emergency declared by the government, there is no guarantees that in June we have all the necessary conditions to Rock in Rio occurs in the original format.

 

  1. Who will be performing in the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa?

Questions about Tickets:

 

  1. Is my ticket for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, for 2020 or 2021, valid for 2022?

Yes. All the ticket types (daily, weekend passes, family passport and packs integrated with transport) acquired for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA (for 2020 or 2021) will be valid for the new dates. However, the dates are not set until confirmation of the line-up. We ask you to please wait for confirmation of the line-up and disclosure of more information.

 

  1. How can I validate my ticket?

Tickets acquired for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA (for 2020 or 2021) will automatically be valid for the new dates, with no validation needed at this moment. We ask you to please wait for confirmation of the line-up and disclosure of more information.

 

  1. I do not want to keep my ticket for the new dates. How should I proceed?

Tickets Holders for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa can request the issue of a voucher of equal value up to 31 December 2021. See the information below in the “Voucher Questions” section

 

  1. I was given a ticket in the name of another person. To enter the festival site, do I need to exchange it for a ticket in my name?

No. As we will not be checking names at the entrance, you need only present the valid ticket you have to enter the City of Rock.

 

  1. Are the tickets for the new dates of the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA available for sale?

The tickets for the new dates are not on sale yet. Follow our social networks for all the latest news.

 

  1. I bought a Rock in Rio Experience Pack powered by FNAC. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the Event?

Yes. Your Rock in Rio Experience Pack powered by FNAC will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected.

 

  1. I bought a FNAC Christmas Kit. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the Event?

Yes. Your FNAC Christmas Kit will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected.

 

  1. I bought a voucher at Continente for the 2020 event and I have not exchanged the voucher for a ticket yet. How should I proceed?

Your voucher remains valid and its exchange for a ticket to the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA will be possible starting from a date that will be announced soon.

 

  1. I took part in a promotion and won a ticket(s) (daily ticket, double ticket, upgrade to VIP with a companion, lifetime ticket) to the Event. Is(Are) the ticket(s) valid for the new date?

Yes. The tickets received through promotions will be valid for the new dates.

 

  1. I won a double invitation to the test event of the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa. Is my invitation still valid after the rescheduling?

Yes. Your double invitation to the test event of the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA will be valid for the new date.
For customers who have won a double invitation through the FNAC Experience Pack and the Christmas Kit, the invitation will only be valid if it has been validated within the deadline established in the product regulations.

  1. 11. I won an exclusive experience (Walking Tour, gastronomic experience, early entry, Ferris wheel fast pass, slide fast pass, FNAC lifetime card) for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA. Are these experiences valid for the new date?

Yes. Your exclusive experience will be valid for the new dates. We will contact you as soon as we have more information.

 

  1. 12. I bought an integrated ticket – ROCKCard CP / ROCKPass REDE EXPRESSOS / ROCKPass Via Verde. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the festival?

Yes. Your integrated ticket will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected. At the opportune time, we will inform you how to exchange your Voucher. Everything else remains unchanged.

 

  1. 13. I bought a Family Passport in 2020. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the festival?

Yes. Your Family Passport will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected. We also inform you that all minors who were 9 (nine) years old on the date the passport was bought are entitled to entry, upon showing the respective identification documents proving their age to the entrance staff.

 

Questions about the voucher

 

  1. What is the Voucher estabilished by the Decree-Law n.º 10I/2020?

It is a process established by Decree-Law no. 10-I/2020 with the amendments introduced through Law no. 7/2020, of 10 April, Law no. 19/2020, of 29 May and Decree-Law no. 6-E/2021 of 15 January, which entitles the holders of tickets to festivals and shows of a similar nature, which cannot be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to a voucher of equal value to the price paid.

This voucher can be used to buy tickets to the same show staged on a new date or to other events staged by the same promoter and are valid to be exchanged for a ticket until 31 December 2021.

Customers who do not use the voucher by 31 December 2021 may request a refund for the amount paid within 14 working days (between 03/01/2022 and 20/01/2022), as established by law, using the same platform through which the voucher was issued.

 

  1. How can I request the voucher for Rock in Rio?

The holders of tickets acquired for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA (for 2020 or 2021) can request the voucher to be issued up to 31 December 2021, using the same platform/shops where they acquired the tickets. Note: A request for the voucher automatically cancels your ticket, and acquisition of a new ticket for ROCK IN RIO LISBOA is subject to availability.

Rock in Rio Website : Request your voucher by clicking HERE. Simply input all the data requested and follow the instructions.     

 

FNAC:  Valid for people who bought tickets in FNAC shops or through FNAC.pt.

  • In person: Go to a FNAC shop with your ticket and ask for your VOUCHER. The shop will take your ticket, which will immediately be cancelled, and you will receive a VOUCHER of equal value.
  • Online: Exchange online, using the Blueticket platform by clicking HERE and following the instructions.

Continente:  If you bought a ticket/voucher in a Continente store or through the Continente website, go to one of the stores listed below with your ticket and ask for your VOUCHER. The Continente store will take your ticket, which will immediately be cancelled, and you will receive a VOUCHER of equal value.

To purchases made in store: The Customer can make the online redeem, as above, or go to a store with your ticket and request the VALE. The store will take your ticket, that will be promptly cancelled, and give you the VALE of the same amount of the ticket.

GALP: Customer must go to a store with your ticket and request the VALE. The store will take your ticket, that will be promptly cancelled, and give you the VALE of the same amount of the ticket. 

 

Ticketline.pt (includes Rock Card CP and Rede Expresso):   For purchases made online: Send an e-mail requesting the VALE to ticketline@ticketline.pt with the subject: “Rock in Rio Lisboa VALE request”, informing your ticket number in the body of the e-mail.

For purchases made in stores: You will have to go to the store with your tickets in your possession and request the VALE. The store will cancel your ticket and deliver a VALE in the same amount as the ticket.

  1. Can I use my Voucher?

The voucher can be used when buying tickets to the same show on a new date or for other events organised by BETTER WORLD and it is valid until 31 December 2021, in the same platform through which you requested the issue of your voucher.

 

You can use your voucher to acquire tickets to other events organised by Better World.  Tickets for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa will go on sale as soon as the line-up is confirmed.

 

We remind you that the voucher can be requested until 31 December 2021 using the same platform through which your ticket was acquired.

 

  1. How does the voucher work?

The voucher, which will be for the same value as the price paid, functions as a form of payment. It can only be used on the platform through which it was issued. The voucher does not guarantee ticket availability. If you use the voucher, you cannot request cancellation of the purchase or a refund.

 

  1. Does the voucher guarantee the later acquisition of a ticket?

No, the voucher functions as a form of payment to acquire a new ticket, i.e. the tickets will always be subject to availability.

The voucher is valid for the acquisition of a new ticket only on the platform through which the voucher was issued.

 

  1. I cannot attend the Event on the new date. How can I request a refund?

If you have a ticket for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa (for 2020 or 2021) and you do not want to attend the festival on the new scheduled dates, you can request the issue of a voucher in accordance with Article 5-A of Decree-Law no. 10-I/2020, of 26 March, with the amendments introduced through Law no. 7/2020, of 10 April, Law no. 19/2020, of 29 May and Decree-Law no. 6-E/2021 of 15 January.
Customers who do not use the voucher by 31 December 2021 may request a refund for the amount paid within 14 working days (03/01/2022 to 20/01/2022), as established by law, using the same platform through which the voucher was issued. The amount to be refunded will correspond to the remaining balance, if part of the value has been used.
Customers who do not exchange their ticket for a voucher by 31 December 2021 will not entitled to a refund.

 

  1. I requested the voucher and ended up not using it. Can I request a refund?

Customers who do not use their voucher by 31 December 2021 may request a refund within 14 working days (03/01/2022 to 20/01/2022), as established by law, using the same platform through which the voucher was issued.

Customers who do not exchange their ticket for a voucher by 31 December 2021 will not entitled to a refund.
The refund will be issued through the same platform used to issue the voucher. The procedures will be disclosed in December 2021.
