  1. When will the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa take place?

The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, initially scheduled for 2020, has been rescheduled for 18, 19, 25 and 26 June 2022.

 

  1. Where will the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa be take place?

The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa will be staged in the Parque da Bela Vista, Rua Dr. Arlindo Vicente, 1950-080 Lisbon, Portugal.

 

  1. Why was Rock in Rio Lisboa rescheduled for 2022?

The health and safety of our audience is, and it will always be, our first priority, and currently being in a state of emergency declared by the government, there is no guarantees that in June we have all the necessary conditions to Rock in Rio occurs in the original format.

 

  1. Who will be performing in the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa?

  1. What’s the opening and closing time of the Rock in Rio venue?

The doors opens at 12:00 and close at 02:00

 

  1. Which is the Rock in Rio Lisbon age restriction?

The age restriction is M6 – Above 6 (six) years old.

Being prohibited the admission of yougest than 3 (three) years old.

 

  1. Can children and teenagers go to Rock in Rio not accompanied by an adult?

Children’s over 3 (three) years old, and those under 12 (twelve) years old may only enter the City of Rock duly accompanied by the holder of parental responsibilities (father or mother), or by a duly identified adult who for them be responsible.

  1. If the age of the minor(s) raises doubts what happens?

Whenever the age of the minors raises doubts, the identification document proving the invoked age will have to be presented to the agents responsible for inspection, under penalty of being denied entry into the premises.

 

  1. Do children of any age pay a ticket?

Yes, all people, including children, need 1 (one) valid ticket to enter the City of Rock, and children under 3 (three) years of age are prohibited from entering.

  1. Is my ticket for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, for 2020 or 2021, valid for 2022?

Yes. All the ticket types (daily, weekend passes, family passport and packs integrated with transport) bought for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA (for 2020 or 2021) will be valid for the new dates, following he headliner:

21/06/2020 or 19/06/2021 – New date: 18/06/2022 Foo Fighters

20/06/2020 or 20/06/2021 – New date: 19/06/2022 The Black Eyed Peas

27/06/2020 or 26/06/2021 – New date: 25/06/2022 Duran Duran

  1. How can I validate my ticket?

Tickets acquired for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA (for 2020 or 2021) will automatically be valid for the new dates, with no validation needed at this moment.

 

  1. I do not want to keep my ticket for the new dates. How should I proceed?

The refund request period for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa has ended.

The period for requesting the refund of tickets took place between the 21st of June and the 15th of July 2021, as provided for in Article 5 C of Decree-Law No. 10I/2020, of 26 March.

It is considered that ticket holders who did not request a refund within the established deadline, accept the rescheduling of the show, without the right to refund the value,  the ticket being automatically valid for the 2022 edition.

 

  1. I was given a ticket in the name of another person. To enter the festival site, do I need to exchange it for a ticket in my name?

No. As we will not be checking names at the entrance, you need only present the valid ticket you have to enter the City of Rock.

 

  1. What types of tickets are available?

The General Access, Weekend Pass and Family Passport are the only types of ticket available for sale.

 

  1. What is the price of the day ticket and the weekend pass?

The daily ticket will sell for €74.00 and will give you access to all the festival’s attractions.

The Weekend Pass will sell for €121.00 and will give you access to all the festival’s attractions during the selected weekend. First weekend passes are sold out.

  1. My Ticketline hardticket is unreadable or with printing failures, how should I proceed?

We ask you to send an e-mail to ticketline@ticketline.pt with a picture of the ticket and a sale receipt, ticketline will get in touch and send you a replacement ticket.

 

  1. I bought a Rock in Rio Experience Pack powered by FNAC. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the Event?

Yes. Your Rock in Rio Experience Pack powered by FNAC will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected.

 

  1. I bought a FNAC Christmas Kit. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the Event?

Yes. Your FNAC Christmas Kit will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected.

 

  1. I bought Rock in Rio Lisboa Christmas or Experience KIT at FNAC and have not exchanged the voucher for a ticket yet, How should I proceed?

Your voucher remains valid and its exchange for a ticket to the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA will be possible starting from a date that will be announced soon.

 

  1. I bought a voucher at Continente for the 2020 event and I have not exchanged the voucher for a ticket yet. How should I proceed?

Your voucher remains valid and its exchange for a ticket to the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA will be possible starting from a date that will be announced soon.

 

  1. I took part in a promotion and won a ticket(s) (daily ticket, double ticket, upgrade to VIP with a companion, lifetime ticket) to the Event. Is(Are) the ticket(s) valid for the new date?

Yes. The tickets received through promotions will be valid for the new dates.

 

  1. I won a double invitation to the test event of the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa. Is my invitation still valid after the rescheduling?

Yes. Your double invitation to the test event of the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA will be valid for the new date.
For customers who have won a double invitation through the FNAC Experience Pack and the Christmas Kit, the invitation will only be valid if it has been validated within the deadline established in the product regulations.

  1. I won an exclusive experience (Walking Tour, gastronomic experience, early entry, Ferris wheel fast pass, slide fast pass, FNAC lifetime card) for the 9th edition of ROCK IN RIO LISBOA. Are these experiences valid for the new date?

Yes. Your exclusive experience will be valid for the new dates. We will contact you as soon as we have more information.

 

  1. I bought an integrated ticket – ROCKCard CP / ROCKPass REDE EXPRESSOS / ROCKPass Via Verde. Do all the benefits included in this product remain valid with the rescheduling of the festival?

Yes. Your integrated ticket will be valid for the new dates and the benefits included will not be affected. At the opportune time, we will inform you how to exchange your Voucher. Everything else remains unchanged.

 

Questions about family passport

  1. What is the Family Passport?

The Family Passport is a single daily ticket, valid for 3 (three) adults and 2 (two) children. 1 (one) adult must be over 70 years old and 2 (two) children aged between 3 and 10 years old.

Subject to stock availability.

 

  1. What is the price of the Family Passport?

The Family Pass costs €152.00, and allows 5 people to access Rock in Rio simultaneously through an exclusive corridor.

 

  1. Where can I buy the Family Passport?

The Family Passport is an exclusive GALP product, so you will have to go in person to one of the Gas Stations or GALP Electricity and Natural Gas Stores available for sale:

A.S. Boavista, A.S. Francos, A.S. Catholic University Porto, A.S. Leiria, A.S. Adelino Amaro da Costa, A.S. Estoril, A.S. Airport N/S, A.S. Telheiras, A.S. Gago Coutinho, Casa da Música and Almada stores.

 

  1. Can the access into the venue for the 5 (five) persons be made separately?

No. The ticket is single, and all 5 (five) people must enter the venue simultaneously.

 

  1. I bought a Family Passport in 2020 or 2021. Do all the benefits provided by this product remain with the festival’s rescheduling?

Yes. Your Family Passport will be valid for the new dates and no changes will be made to your benefits. If, by the new dates announced, the age of the child(ren) changes and exceeds 10 years (inclusive), we will take into account the situation and allow the entry of the minor upon presentation of the identification document proving the age invoked to the agents responsible for inspection.

 

Questions about refund

 

  1. Who can request a refund of the ticket/voucher?

The refund request period for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa is closed, the period for requesting the refund of tickets took place between the 21st of June and the 15th of July 2021, as provided for in Article 5 C of Decree-Law No. 10I/2020, of 26 March.

It is considered that ticket holders who did not request a refund within the established deadline, accept the rescheduling of the show, without the right to refund the value,  the ticket being automatically valid for the 2022 edition.

Voucher holders who do not wish to be present at the 2022 edition may request the return of the respective value within 14 working days after the expiration of the respective voucher, as provided for in Decree-Law No. 10I/2020, of 26th of March, that is, between the 3rd and 20th of January 2022.

 

  1. I have a Rock in Rio Lisboa Ticket. Can I request a refund after the due date established by item 5C of Decree-Law n.º 10‑I/2020, of 26th March?

The refund request period for the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa is closed, the period for requesting the refund of tickets took place between the 21st of June and the 15th of July 2021, as provided for in Article 5 C of Decree-Law No. 10I/2020, of 26 March.

It is considered that ticket holders who did not request a refund within the established deadline, accept the rescheduling of the show, without the right to refund the value,  the ticket being automatically valid for the 2022 edition.

 

  1. I have a voucher issued by BETTER WORLD, valid until 31/12/2021, and no longer want to attend the 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa in 2022. When can I apply for a refund?

The holders of non-used vouchers, issued by BETTER WORLD, valid until 31st of december 2021, who no longer want to attend the 2022 edition, will be able to apply for a refund up to 14 working days after the expiration of the voucher, between the 3rd and 20th of January 2022, as established by Decree-law 10‑I/2020 of 26th of March.

The refund can be requested in the same platform or ticket office of the original purchase. All the procedures will be disclosed in detail soon on ROCK IN RIO LISBOA website and all sales channels.

If the refund is not requested until 20th of January 2022, and the voucher is not utilized until 31st December 2021, the voucher is revalidated automatically until 31st December 2022.

 

  1. How long will take to process the refunds?

All the refund request received respecting the refund dates will be processed in the maximum of 60 (sixty) working days starting on the date of the request.

 

  1. How I will be refunded?

The refund will be processed by default on the same payment form of the original purchase. In the case is not possible to process the refund, you will be contacted to provide a different alternative.

 

Questions about the voucher

 

  1. What is the Voucher estabilished by the Decree-Law n.º 10I/2020?

It is a process established by Decree-Law no. 10-I/2020 with the amendments introduced through Law no. 7/2020, of 10 April, Law no. 19/2020, of 29 May and Decree-Law no. 6-E/2021 of 15 January, which entitles the holders of tickets to festivals and shows of a similar nature, which cannot be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to a voucher of equal value to the price paid.

This voucher can be used to buy tickets to the same show staged on a new date or to other events staged by the same promoter and are valid to be exchanged for a ticket until 31 December 2021.

 

  1. How can I request the voucher for Rock in Rio?

The voucher request period ended on 18th of June 2021

 

  1. Can I use my Voucher?

The voucher can be used when buying tickets to the same show on a new date or for other events organised by BETTER WORLD and it is valid until 31 December 2021, in the same platform through which you requested the issue of your voucher.

You can use your voucher to acquire tickets to events organised by Better World.  The exchange for new tickets is still not available now, we will inform you when this operation is availble

For the Voucher Holders, the daily ticket price will remain 69EUR

 

  1. How does the voucher work?

The voucher, which will be for the same value as the price paid, functions as a form of payment. It can only be used on the platform through which it was issued. The voucher does not guarantee ticket availability. If you use the voucher, you cannot request cancellation of the purchase or a refund.

 

  1. Does the voucher guarantee the later acquisition of a ticket?

No, the voucher functions as a form of payment to acquire a new ticket, i.e. the tickets will always be subject to availability.

The voucher is valid for the acquisition of a new ticket only on the platform through which the voucher was issued.

 

  1. I cannot attend the Event on the new date. How can I request a refund?

The holders of non-used vouchers, issued by BETTER WORLD, valid until 31st of December 2021, who no longer want to attend the 2022 edition, will be able to apply for a refund up to 14 working days after the expiration of the voucher, between the 3rd and 20th of January 2022, as established by Decree-law 10‑I/2020 of 26th of March.
