The 16 previous editions in the four cities totaled 8,218,600 viewers present at Rock City and 1,498 artists from all streams. A success of such magnitude imposes responsibilities and gives rise to the desire to give back to the community beyond the creation of jobs and the economic impact, in order to improve their quality of life. Thus, in 14 editions over the last 14 years of Social Project, Rock in Rio with the support of sponsors invested 24 375 321.83 euros in various parts of the world.
